Subsidy Schemes by the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance

The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance has announced a call for applications, which are be funded by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the Republic of Cyprus. Applications are accepted from 5/9/2025 until the funds are exhausted.

SUBSIDY SCHEMES:

A. INACTIVE WOMEN WITH FLEXIBLE EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
Any woman who is not employed/self-employed/registered with the Public Employment Service and has not been seeking employment in the past 28 days.

B. UNEMPLOYED WOMEN
Women who are unemployed on the date of recruitment, registered with the Public Employment Service.

C. UNEMPLOYED PERSONS OVER 50 YEARS OLD
Persons over 50 years old who is unemployed on the date of recruitment, registered with the Public Employment Service.

D. YOUTH AGED 15-29 WHO ARE NOT ENGAGED IN EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, OR TRAINING
Youth aged 15 to 29 years, on the date of recruitment, who are not engaged in employment, education, or training and are registered as unemployed with the Public Employment Service.

The Program has a duration of 12 months (10 months with a subsidy and 2 months without a subsidy), with a maximum grant of €8,600 in total.
