Save - Upgrade for Small and Medium Enterprises and Non-Profit Organizations (2nd Announcement)

Objective
The objective of the Plan is to promote energy-saving investments in buildings and facilities owned or used by small and medium enterprises and non-profit organizations, which will result in at least 35% energy savings.
Beneficiaries
Eligible to apply are new or existing small and medium enterprises from all economic sectors, as well as non-profit organizations that do not engage in economic activity. Enterprises listed in the Plan's exclusion list are exempt.
Amounts and Grant Rates
The intensity of the aid amounts to 40% of the eligible expenses of each application. Beneficiaries falling under Non-Profit Organizations, as well as Small and Medium Enterprises implementing investments in mountainous and disadvantaged areas, may receive an increased grant rate, specifically 60% of the eligible expenses.
The maximum grant amount that can be awarded is €300,000 and depends on the type of investment chosen by each applicant.
Categories of Eligible Expenses
- Improvement of the energy efficiency of building envelopes.
- Installation of new technical systems in buildings.
- Installation of high-efficiency cogeneration systems for electricity and heat.
- Installation of RES systems, including the installation of energy storage batteries.
- Improvement of energy efficiency related to business production/operation processes, such as replacement of energy-intensive equipment, installation of energy-saving systems, as well as replacement of floodlights/lighting systems in sports stadiums/theater stages/dance halls, etc.
