Description
The purpose of the program is to develop business and managerial skills in women working in Organizations and Enterprises. The seminar will enhance their knowledge and skills to become more capable of assuming managerial and leadership positions, adding value as human resources to the businesses they work for and supporting their further development, making them more competitive.
Training Need
Based on Eurostat statistics, only 10% of women in Cyprus hold managerial positions in companies, while the European average is 32%. The seminar will support the need to enhance the skills and capabilities of the country’s working women to achieve a higher level of excellence and professional advancement.
Candidates for Training
- Working women in organizations/businesses aiming to assume managerial duties and leadership positions
- Unemployed women registered with the Public Employment Service (PES)
- Women who hold an Individual Learning Account
- Women who can participate in the program on their own initiative

Trainer Description
Ms. Kalia Demetriadou
Kalia Demetriadou is the founder and CEO of Growth Consultants Ltd, a company engaged in consulting and proposal development related to funding schemes and incentives at both national and European levels.
She has over 10 years of experience as a project consultant and manager funded by various funds (Schemes of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Erasmus+ and Norway Grants).
Kalia holds a degree in International Relations and European Studies and postgraduate degrees in International Relations and Business Administration. In addition to her studies, she has also obtained the LCCI in Public Relations, certifications in content marketing, and proposal writing. She is also a certified adult trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority in Cyprus.
Her main area of expertise in training is in entrepreneurship, business development, and leveraging schemes with over 300 hours of completed training seminars.
