Scheme for the Employment Reintegration of Ex-Offenders
Eligibility Conditions:
- Individuals who have been released from the Central Prisons of the Republic of Cyprus
- Must be registered as unemployed with the Public Employment Service prior to the date of hiring (unemployment status must remain valid up to one day before employment begins)
Subsidy:
- Employment Duration: 24 months
- Maximum Grant: €20,640
Scheme for the Employment of Individuals with Chronic Diseases
Eligibility Conditions:
- Candidates must be members of an association registered with the Cyprus Federation of Patients Associations
- Must be registered as unemployed with the Public Employment Service
- Employment can be full-time or part-time
Subsidy:
- Employment Duration: 24 months
- Maximum Grant: €22,360
Scheme for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities
Eligibility Conditions:
- Unemployed individuals of all ages with a disability certificate issued by the Cyprus Confederation of Organizations of the Disabled
- Employment can be full-time or part-time
Subsidy:
- Employment Duration: 24 months
- Maximum Grant: €22,360
Application & Grant Disbursement
Beneficiaries of the above schemes may submit requests for payment of the grant to the Managing Authority after signing the Public Funding Agreement. Payment requests can be submitted either every four months or upon completion of the agreement.
