2025 Funding Scheme for Events Promoting Traditional Flavours & Local Products in Cyprus
A funding opportunity for individuals, municipalities, companies, and organizations organizing events that promote Cypriot gastronomy and local products in 2025.
Purpose of the Scheme
This scheme supports events held in Cyprus during 2025, focused on the promotion of traditional foods, drinks, and local products. The goal is to boost cultural heritage, sustainability, and community engagement through gastronomy.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include:
- Individuals
- Private companies (non-state-owned)
- Community and Municipal Councils
- NGOs, Associations & Foundations
Note: Municipal Councils may receive funding for multiple events within the same year, provided each event takes place in a different municipal district.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for funding, events must:
- Focus on promoting one or more local products, traditional foods, or beverages
- Be open to the public and last at least 6 hours per day
- Provide a free small tasting sample to attendees (served or packaged in recyclable materials)
- Include at least one interactive experience related to the local product(s)
- Feature at least one thematic photo point for attendees
Funding Details
- Total Available Budget: €120,000
- Maximum Grant per Event: €5,000
- Deadline for Event Implementation: December 31, 2025
- Application Deadline: At least 2 months before the event date
- Submission Format: Online only
